Bio

Spencer is a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer and the owner of FRST Fitness. He has been working in the fitness industry for over a decade, previously owning a successful personal training business before opening FRST Fitness in 2018 with his wife and business partner, Chelsey.

Since beginning Personal Training in 2014, he has helped 100s of clients reach and surpass their goals, improve their health and lifestyle, reduce pain, increase strength, and avoid surgeries.

“Everyone has different bodies and different goals, so why shouldn’t they be trained differently? I love it when clients ask questions and strive to understand the why, not just the how, of training.

My passion is teaching my clients – we call it ‘Education through Exercise’. By helping them push past their self-imposed limits and celebrating their big wins, I get the reward of watching people learn the skills and lessons needed to live happier, healthier lives”.

Bio

Chelsey is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Having extensive experience in functional, orthopaedic rehabilitation, Chelsey is very passionate about helping her clients take their rehab into their own hands and get back to doing what they love through movement.

Chelsey helped open the FRST doors in 2018 and quickly fell into the role of Operations Manager. You’ll very rarely find Chelsey teaching a class, but rather helping out clients one-on-one and sweating with you!

Welcome to FRST! I look forward to seeing you in class and/or our 1v1 Personal Training sessions. I have been working as a Personal Trainer for 11 years now and have had the privilege of working with 100’s of clients with a variety of different goals.

This privilege has allowed me to become incredibly versatile and have had experience working with weight loss clients, strength and conditioning, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and postural adjustment/ operating pain free. My approach to training is to make the process as fun and comfortable as possible as I know taking the first steps to achieving your fitness goals can be challenging!

Once more, I look forward to seeing you in the facility and helping absolutely crush your health and fitness goals.

My journey began in Ukraine, where I started my career as a personal and group fitness trainer. After moving to Canada, I continued pursuing my passion, working with diverse clients to achieve their goals.

I specialize in strength training, high-intensity workouts, functional fitness, and stretching. My approach focuses not only on improving physical health but also on integrating fitness into my clients’ daily lives, making it an enjoyable and sustainable part of their routine.

In addition to fitness, I am a dance instructor, blending movement and artistry to help people explore their physical potential in creative ways. I deeply love everything related to the body—strength, endurance, flexibility—and believe that working with the body has a profound impact on mental well-being and overall quality of life.

For me, training is more than a job—it’s a mission to inspire others to embrace a healthier lifestyle and discover the incredible connection between body and mind.

Regardless of level of experience or physical capabilities, everyone can benefit from a skilled professional. My approach to training combines hard work, laughs and loud music. My mission is to push my clients to push themselves for there is no change without challenge.

Sy is a certified Personal Trainer and holds an Associate”s Degree is Kinesiology. Sy has been actively training for over 15 years and has played in both NFL and CFL. Currently holding 4 years of personal training experience.
